Senior Netsuite Engineer

Who you are

You are a highly skilled Senior Netsuite Engineer with a deep expertise in accounting processes and best practices in NetSuite. You have extensive knowledge of related financial systems such as Coupa, Zip, and Concur, and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Your ability to analyze data integrations with upstream or downstream systems sets you apart. You are detail-oriented, with strong documentation skills, and you thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions during upgrades.

You have a proven track record of configuring and customizing the NetSuite system to align with business processes and requirements, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. Your experience includes architecting scalable NetSuite solutions that integrate seamlessly with other systems, demonstrating your technical consulting and solutioning capabilities. You are comfortable with administrative functions such as roles, permissions, access controls, and bi-annual releases, showcasing your comprehensive understanding of system management.

Desirable

Experience with additional financial systems or tools will be a plus, as will familiarity with data integration techniques and methodologies. A background in finance or accounting will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the Finance organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing the NetSuite system to meet the organization's business processes and requirements. You will work on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger configurations, ensuring that the system aligns with the financial needs of the company. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting scalable solutions that integrate with upstream and downstream systems, enhancing the overall efficiency of financial operations.

You will also take on administrative functions, managing roles, permissions, and access controls within the NetSuite environment. Your hands-on development skills will be put to use as you provide technical consulting and solutioning for various projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform testing and ensure seamless transitions during upgrades, playing a key role in the success of system enhancements.

Your ability to document processes and solutions will be essential, as you will create detailed documentation that supports the Finance organization and aids in training and onboarding new team members. You will report to the Manager of Corporate Systems and work closely with all areas of the Finance team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
