Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for their Retail sector to drive client management and sales strategies. You'll leverage your expertise in digital advertising and data-driven decision-making to optimize customer growth. This role requires fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing. Your fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin enables you to effectively support client management and communication. You possess a strong understanding of Google's advertising ecosystem and have experience leading Joint Business Plans (JBP). Your ability to utilize data for business forecasting and sales pipeline management is key to identifying new opportunities for growth.

You are knowledgeable about vertical business models and macro-trends, allowing you to advise clients on the impact of AI on their Profit and Loss statements and market positioning. You excel at developing data-motivated narratives for C-level audiences, simplifying complex AI concepts to facilitate the adoption of transformation strategies. Your project management and operational discipline skills are exceptional, enabling you to navigate the complexities of client relationships and deliver results.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive user acquisition and activation strategies for Google's Retail sector, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You will build trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs and translating them into powerful advertising solutions. Your expertise in digital marketing will be essential as you advocate for products that address vertical-specific issues and leverage success to expand marketing investments.
