GetYourGuide is seeking a New Business Development Manager to strengthen their Sales Team in Hong Kong. You'll focus on acquiring and onboarding new suppliers in the travel industry. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
You are a driven and resilient professional with a strong background in business development, particularly in the travel or tourism sector. You have a proven track record of building and managing sales pipelines, negotiating optimal terms, and driving supplier acquisition. Your results-oriented mindset enables you to consistently hit and exceed quotas, making you a valuable asset to any sales team. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively represent your company at industry events and build strong relationships with potential suppliers.
Fluency in Mandarin is a significant advantage, as it will help you connect with a broader range of suppliers in the region. Experience in the travel industry or a related field will also enhance your ability to identify and onboard the best suppliers. You are comfortable with regular travel, as this role may require you to visit suppliers and industry events to establish credibility and foster relationships.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in GetYourGuide's growth by identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new suppliers, primarily focusing on tour and experience providers as well as attractions. You will manage the entire sales funnel, which includes outreach, negotiation, closing, and onboarding, ensuring that you consistently meet and exceed your sales targets. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to align supplier acquisition efforts with broader business goals, ensuring sustainable growth for the company.
You will represent GetYourGuide at relevant industry events, where you will drive acquisition and establish credibility within the travel community. Your ability to build strong relationships with suppliers will be crucial in enhancing GetYourGuide's position in the experience industry. You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities for supplier acquisition.
