Who you are

You are a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong background in C# and Angular, bringing at least 5 years of experience in building scalable applications. You have a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, allowing you to contribute effectively to all layers of the application stack. You are comfortable defining technical direction and architecture, ensuring that the systems you build are robust and maintainable. You embrace modern development tools and practices, including AI-assisted coding tools, to enhance your productivity and code quality. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client needs.

Desirable

Experience with observability platforms or telemetry systems would be a plus, as would familiarity with cloud services like Azure or AWS. You are also encouraged to have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies, as the tech landscape is always evolving.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the development of Degreed's new Client-Facing Observability Platform. This involves designing and implementing features that provide clients with transparency into integrations, SSO, APIs, and reporting health. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include defining the architecture and standards for capturing, processing, and presenting telemetry data, ensuring that the platform is reliable and user-friendly. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning within the team. As part of your role, you will participate in code reviews, ensuring that the codebase remains clean and maintainable. You will also be involved in performance optimization and troubleshooting, addressing any issues that arise in production environments.
