Stay22 is seeking a Senior Technical Engineering Manager to lead their Fabric and Social Affiliate squads. You'll manage a team of engineers while balancing hands-on technical work and people leadership. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills.
You have a strong background in engineering management, with experience leading diverse teams of engineers. Your leadership style emphasizes mentorship and collaboration, ensuring that your team members feel supported and empowered to tackle complex technical challenges. You are comfortable diving into code reviews and architecture discussions, maintaining credibility with your team while guiding them through their projects. You have a proven track record of translating ambitious roadmaps into actionable plans, working closely with product managers to align engineering efforts with business goals. Your ability to balance technical expertise with people leadership makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
Experience in affiliate marketing or AI-powered platforms would be a plus, as well as familiarity with scalable solutions and high-quality service delivery. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your team's performance and the overall product offering.
In this role, you will lead the Fabric and Social Affiliate squads at Stay22, managing a talented team of 5-8+ engineers. You will drive execution and delivery across both teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet high standards of quality. Your hands-on involvement will include conducting code reviews, participating in architecture discussions, and occasionally coding small features or fixes. You will work closely with product managers to translate the company's ambitious roadmap into actionable plans, guiding your teams to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions. As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will coach and grow your engineers, unblock complex technical challenges, and ensure that the platform's services are robust and scalable.
