Axon is seeking an Account Executive for their Campus team to drive growth in the higher education and K-12 markets. You'll develop strategic territory plans and build relationships with key customers. This role requires expertise in complex sales cycles and proactive engagement.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing complex sales cycles and developing strategic territory plans. Your experience in the education sector, especially with higher education and K-12 institutions, gives you a unique perspective on the needs of campus customers. You excel at building and maintaining relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to your clients. You are proactive and relentless in your approach, always seeking new opportunities to drive growth and expand adoption of your company's ecosystem. You understand the importance of collaboration and can coordinate effectively across multiple teams to achieve your goals.
Experience in the public safety or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with Axon's products and services. You are comfortable with forecasting and strategic planning, and you have a knack for identifying long-term growth opportunities. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders will set you apart in this role.
As an Account Executive on the Campus team, you will take ownership of a high-value territory across the Central U.S. You will develop and execute a comprehensive regional plan that aligns with Axon's strategic priorities. Your role will involve driving growth within the campus market, requiring you to engage with some of the largest and most influential customers in the region. You will be responsible for steering multi-product, multi-stakeholder opportunities from origination to close, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets.
You will spend over 50% of your time traveling within your territory, meeting with clients and prospects to understand their needs and demonstrate how Axon's solutions can address their challenges. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to report on your progress and adjust your strategies as needed. Your success will be measured by your ability to forecast accurately and unlock long-term strategic growth for Axon.
