Amazon is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and scale marketing growth for Japan. You'll define and execute the marketing strategy focusing on brand building and customer acquisition. This role requires a deep understanding of the Japanese marketing landscape and strong execution capabilities.
You are a strategic and entrepreneurial marketing leader with a strong ownership mindset and the ambition to build and shape a new brand from the ground up in Amazon Japan. You bring a deep understanding of the Japan marketing landscape, along with strong consumer and cultural insights. Your demonstrated experience in leveraging multi-channel marketing to drive brand awareness, traffic, and customer acquisition sets you apart. You possess both strategic thinking and strong execution capabilities, allowing you to operate independently, move fast, and deliver measurable impact.
You have a proven track record in defining and executing end-to-end marketing strategies, particularly in the context of brand building, traffic generation, and customer growth. Your expertise includes customer segmentation and profiling, campaign planning and execution, and ongoing optimization across paid, owned, and earned channels. You are adept at establishing robust measurement and performance management mechanisms, including marketing channel performance reviews, experimentation, and ROI analysis. You continuously translate market and customer insights into data-driven recommendations and actions, ensuring that your strategies are informed by real-world data.
You have experience working closely with Central Marketing, Finance, and Global Brand teams to ensure a consistent brand proposition and aligned customer messaging. Your ability to collaborate effectively across teams enhances your impact and ensures that marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned with broader business goals.
In this role, you will own and scale marketing growth for Japan, focusing on building a new brand within Amazon. You will define and execute the marketing strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the overall business objectives. Your responsibilities will include customer segmentation and profiling, campaign planning, and execution across various channels. You will continuously optimize marketing efforts to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition, leveraging your deep understanding of the Japanese market.
You will establish measurement and performance management mechanisms to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. This includes conducting marketing channel performance reviews, experimentation, and ROI analysis to ensure that your strategies are data-driven and effective. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Central Marketing, Finance, and Global Brand teams, to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned and consistent with the overall brand proposition.
