Xometry is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Automotive Production to support Sales by providing technical expertise and customer engagement. This role requires experience in automotive production and project management.
You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in automotive production and manufacturing. With a proven track record in customer engagement, you excel at providing technical insights that drive account growth and retention. You possess a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, allowing you to navigate complex manufacturing challenges effectively. Your enthusiasm for the automotive industry is evident, and you are eager to contribute to a team that values innovation and collaboration.
You have a deep understanding of the automotive production landscape, including design for manufacturability (DFM) principles. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart. You thrive in customer-facing roles and enjoy working closely with sales teams to identify and address client needs. Your proactive approach to problem-solving ensures that you can anticipate challenges and provide solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention by leveraging your technical knowledge and customer insights. You will engage with customers to understand their projects and requirements, providing valuable feedback that informs sales strategies. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential manufacturing challenges and collaborating with the sales team to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
You will join Account Executives on onsite visits to customers, where you will present technical information and address any concerns they may have. Your role will involve staying informed about upcoming customer projects and ensuring that you are prepared to support them effectively. You will also contribute to the development of best practices within the Pre-Sales Engineering community, sharing your knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
