What you'll do

As a Security Operator 3 at SpaceX, you will be the first point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, and guests, providing a critical first impression of the organization. You will track special events and visits, ensuring that all security protocols are followed. Your role will involve interfacing with high-level stakeholders, requiring you to maintain a thorough knowledge of access control and escort procedures. You will coordinate with the SpaceX Protective Operations Center to initiate timely notifications and response measures for incidents or emergencies. Monitoring site surveillance camera systems will be a key responsibility, allowing you to ensure the safety of the facility. You will prepare clear and concise written incident reports, documenting any issues that arise and reporting maintenance or technology concerns. Building collaborative working relationships with other departments will be essential to enhance the overall security posture of SpaceX facilities. You will assist emergency response personnel as needed, ensuring that you are well-prepared to handle any situation that may arise.
