Checkr is seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Manager to drive growth through financial planning and strategic analysis. You'll collaborate with product, marketing, and data science teams to enhance the customer experience. This role requires strong financial acumen and partnership skills.
You have over 5 years of experience in finance, particularly in strategic finance or financial planning and analysis. Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams, and you excel at translating complex financial data into actionable insights for business leaders. You are comfortable engaging with executives and have a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions that drive growth. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at building relationships across various departments, including product, marketing, and business development. You possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in financial modeling and forecasting, enabling you to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of financial metrics that matter in a product-led growth environment.
Experience in a technology or startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with self-serve and channel partnership business models. You may have a background in consulting or investment banking, which has equipped you with the skills to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes effectively. A strong understanding of data analytics tools and financial software will help you excel in this role.
In this role, you will serve as the primary finance partner to executives across the Self-Serve and Channel Partnerships teams. You will collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance the purchase experience for self-serve customers, ensuring that financial considerations are integrated into product development and marketing strategies. You will analyze financial performance and provide insights that drive decision-making, helping to shape the direction of the business. You will also work closely with business development on commercial strategies and product integration for exclusive partnerships, ensuring that financial implications are understood and addressed. Your role will involve regular presentations to the executive team, where you will share your analyses and recommendations. You will lead financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting, and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of growth initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying risks and opportunities within the business and developing strategies to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities.
