SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their R&D team and help modernize the ticketing industry. You'll work with technologies like Java, JavaScript, and Docker to build scalable software solutions. This role requires experience in building business-critical software in fast-paced environments.
You have 5+ years of experience building business-critical software in a fast-paced environment — you've tackled complex technical challenges and can share insights about the solutions you've developed. Your expertise in Java and JavaScript allows you to create robust applications that meet user needs effectively. You are familiar with modern software development practices and have experience with containerized service-oriented architectures, which enables you to ship code to production frequently and efficiently.
You understand the importance of performance and scalability in software design — you've worked on projects that required you to solve complex performance problems and build systems that can handle high traffic. Your experience includes developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also delightful and inclusive, enhancing the overall user experience. You are proactive in evaluating new technologies and improving your software stack to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
You are comfortable leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development processes while adhering to high technical and product standards. Collaboration is key for you; you enjoy working across team and discipline boundaries to develop the best product possible.
