You have a strong background in product design, with a focus on creating user-centered experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction. Your experience includes designing workflows and interfaces that facilitate user onboarding and feedback collection, ensuring that users can easily navigate and utilize the product's features. You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, allowing you to create high-fidelity prototypes and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You understand the importance of data-driven design and are comfortable using analytics to inform your design decisions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product managers and engineers to bring your designs to life. You are passionate about creating inclusive and accessible designs that cater to a diverse user base. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking feedback to refine your work and enhance user experiences.

Desirable

Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing is a plus, as it will help you gather insights directly from users to inform your design process. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design efforts for Amplitude's Guides and Surveys product, focusing on creating intuitive workflows that help customers onboard new users and drive feature adoption. You will collaborate with product managers to define design requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your vision. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on your designs, ensuring they meet user needs and expectations. You will work closely with engineers during the implementation phase to ensure that your designs are executed accurately and effectively. Additionally, you will contribute to the design system, ensuring consistency across products and enhancing the overall user experience. You will also mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and grow within the team.
