AIGenaiData-drivenCross-functional collaboration

Job Description

The International Seller Services (ISS) organization powers how Amazon teams enable millions of third-party sellers across global marketplaces. Within ISS, the Productivity Programs team is building the foundation for an AI-augmented workforce — driving the design, rollout, and adoption of tools that make teams smarter, faster, and more effective through GenAI and intelligent systems.
If you like to operate in uncharted territory, solving problems that bridge technology, people, and large-scale change, this is your opportunity to help define how Amazon works in the GenAI era. We operate like a high-velocity startup within ISS — experimental, data-driven, and focused on driving measurable productivity impact through structured workflows, AI enablement, and intelligent collaboration.
As a Senior Program Manager , you will anchor some of the most visible programs within ISS Productivity — coordinating across tech, data, and business teams to turn GenAI innovation into scalable, measurable, and repeatable outcomes across international stores.

Key job responsibilities
1) Lead cross-functional GenAI programs: Own the strategy, execution, and adoption of AI initiatives spanning Tech, Science, and Business teams across multiple countries.

2) Translate innovation into scale: Convert prototypes into production-grade AI workflows used daily by thousands of Amazonians across job families and geographies.

3) Be an AI flagbearer: Model how Amazon uses AI responsibly and effectively — championing best practices, building reusable workflows, and demonstrating measurable productivity gains.

4) Drive program governance: Establish mechanisms that bring visibility, alignment, and accountability across Tech, Product, and Regional stakeholders.

5) Quantify impact: Define and track metrics that show improvements in decision velocity, insight quality, and operational effectiveness.

6) Bridge human–AI collaboration: Partner with product teams to ensure AI augments human creativity, context, and problem-solving rather than replacing it.

7) Influence at scale: Communicate outcomes and learnings to senior leaders, shaping how AI-enabled productivity evolves across ISS and Amazon.

8) Continuously evolve: Identify whitespace, anticipate risks, and lead pilots that push the boundaries of what GenAI can achieve for enterprise productivity.

A day in the life
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, connects deeply with both technology and business, and is passionate about building AI-first products that make people more capable, not replaceable. You’ll represent the ISS Productivity charter with senior leaders, align global stakeholders, and work hands-on with engineers and scientists to ship impactful features.
You will manage GenAI programs that span Europe, Japan, China, India, the Middle East, and Latin America, driving consistency in how AI workflows are built, adopted, and measured across ISS. You’ll also represent ISS as an STL in Worldwide Consumer forums, shaping Amazon’s enterprise AI toolkit and ensuring the needs of international seller teams are embedded in global solutions.

This role offers a rare combination of strategic influence and hands-on execution — ideal for someone who can translate vision into mechanisms, navigate complex stakeholder networks, and drive meaningful change across one of Amazon’s most global organizations.- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
