What you'll do

During your internship, you will assist with the analysis of multi-family and commercial mortgage transactions, gaining insight into the financial aspects of real estate. You will learn how to create initial deal sizing and cash flow analysis, as well as write deal narratives that are crucial for understanding the financial viability of projects. Your role will also involve reviewing third-party reports and supporting marketing initiatives, allowing you to engage with various aspects of the business.

You will establish strong working relationships with your team, understanding their needs for support while learning about Commercial Finance. This collaborative environment will enable you to actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of marketing materials, presentations, analyses, reports, and loan or property documents. You will utilize and maintain databases that track relevant real estate metrics, which is essential for informed decision-making in the industry.

Additionally, you will correspond directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers, and clients to answer questions or provide information as needed. This direct interaction will enhance your communication skills and deepen your understanding of client relationships in the commercial real estate sector.
