You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, with a focus on local government and educational institutions. Your ability to articulate complex technology solutions in a clear and compelling manner sets you apart. You thrive on building relationships and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them leverage innovative search technology to unlock the full potential of their data. You are comfortable navigating the unique challenges and requirements of public sector organizations, and you understand the importance of compliance and security in this space.
Experience with AI technologies and analytics is a plus, as is familiarity with Elastic's product offerings. You are adept at identifying new use cases and opportunities for growth within existing accounts, and you have a knack for developing strategic plans that align with client needs. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that customer feedback is integrated into product development and service delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Elastic's AI-powered search solutions to new local government and education accounts while deepening engagement with existing strategic accounts. You will articulate the value and capabilities of our advanced commercial features, nurturing our Open Source offerings as well. Your day-to-day activities will include identifying and developing new use cases that showcase how Elastic’s solutions can transform data into actionable insights. You will work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that our messaging resonates with the unique needs of public sector clients.
You will also engage in regular outreach to potential clients, conducting presentations and demonstrations that highlight the benefits of our technology. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial to your success, as will your ability to navigate the procurement processes typical in government and educational institutions. You will track your sales activities and progress in our CRM system, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets.
