Udemy is hiring a Senior Application Security Engineer to enhance application security and promote secure coding practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct security reviews. This role requires expertise in OWASP and Burp Suite.
You have 5+ years of experience in application security, with a strong understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerability assessments. Your background includes working closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a priority from the outset. You are familiar with industry standards and frameworks, particularly OWASP, and have hands-on experience with security tools like Burp Suite. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy fostering a culture of security awareness among your peers.
Experience with cloud security and familiarity with DevSecOps practices would be a plus. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on security best practices.
