Key job responsibilities
- Development of the end-to-end services and processes to give Amazon employees options for pay, training, and job choices
- Build the most extensive pay premium, job training, and career mobility options on earth
- Use modern technologies to solve complex problems at scale
- Deliver solutions that scale in volume and handle the complexity of diverse workflows and country specific rules/regulations.
- Own automation of business processes in a full stack, mostly server-less environment using proven, as well as evolving native AWS services and other technologies to create a friction free user experience.
- Solve the challenging problem of scaling these services to serve hundreds of thousands of Amazonians across the globe in real-time
- Be a technical innovator that is not afraid to challenge the norms and innovate.

Workforce Solutions (WS) is a horizontal, multi-discipline organization whose mission is to build the best people-forward technology to enable corporate recruitment for Amazon, globally. We build the intelligent technology products Amazon uses to make the right hiring decisions, every time, while being more equitable and candidate-centric in the end-to-end experience. We accomplish this by using our ability in product and program management, and design/research. Our portfolio of products is global (built mostly on native AWS), accounting for recruitment for all corporate roles. - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
