Overview

Vana is seeking a Country Manager to lead their operations in Perú. You'll be responsible for defining and executing local strategy, ensuring profitable growth, and managing P&L. This role requires extensive experience in Fintech and strong negotiation skills.

Who you are

You have at least 8 years of experience in the Fintech sector, ideally in a leadership role overseeing a country or business unit. Your background includes a strong understanding of P&L ownership, financial planning, and decision-making with trade-offs. You possess a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, which has equipped you with the necessary skills to navigate complex business environments. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively manage relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders. You have a data-driven mindset, capable of defining metrics, analyzing funnels, and building business cases to drive execution. Key competencies such as autonomy, strategic thinking, assertive communication, and analytical mindset are part of your professional toolkit.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead Vana's operations in Perú, acting as the primary decision-maker for the local business unit. You will define and execute the local strategy, focusing on achieving profitable growth while ensuring the sustainability of the business. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the P&L, making critical financial decisions, and implementing strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. You will work closely with various teams, balancing fieldwork and office responsibilities to ensure that the business operates smoothly.
