Google is seeking a Program Manager II for Logistics Planning to lead complex projects in supply chain logistics. You'll utilize skills in SQL, Tableau, and Python to drive logistics and operations execution. This role requires 2 years of program management experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes developing forecasting models and scripting in SQL, along with experience in supply chain logistics. You are comfortable managing cross-functional projects and have a proven track record in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Operations, or Analytics within a high-volume environment. Familiarity with enterprise planning software such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP is a plus, as is knowledge of warehouse management concepts. You possess proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and data manipulation, and have the ability to automate manual reporting workflows and build dynamic dashboards using tools like Tableau or Looker. Additionally, you have some experience with Python or other scripting languages.
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve driving logistics and operations execution and planning processes, translating forecasts into tactical execution plans, and facilitating cross-functional reviews. You will own the measurement and reporting of key forecast accuracy metrics, identifying trends, outliers, and systemic bias that impact logistics efficiency. You will facilitate monthly capacity reviews using dynamic data visualizations and lead discussions on network constraints, risks, and required trade-offs. Your ability to make fast, accurate decisions will be crucial in collaborating with both technical and non-technical operational partners.
