Carvana is seeking an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician to prep vehicles for paint. You'll be responsible for tasks such as sanding, masking, and buffing. This role requires a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
You have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to learn and grow in the auto body repair field. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle you prep meets high standards of quality. You understand the importance of teamwork and are willing to collaborate with others to achieve common goals. You are adaptable and can handle the demands of a fast-paced environment, including the possibility of mandatory overtime based on business needs. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technologies in the automotive industry is a plus. A willingness to participate in training programs to enhance your skills and advance your career is highly valued. You are open to feedback and eager to improve your techniques and knowledge in auto body repair.
As an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to ensure that each vehicle is ready for the next stage of the repair process. You will collaborate with experienced technicians and learn from their expertise, gaining valuable skills that will help you progress in your career. Your role will also involve maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
