Handshake is seeking Career/Technical Education Teachers for a temporary AI Trainer role. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. No AI experience is required, and the position is fully remote.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in career or technical education, ideally instructing secondary school students in specific occupational skills. Your background equips you to evaluate and train AI models effectively, ensuring they understand the nuances of your field. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to deliver clear and structured feedback that enhances AI understanding of workplace tasks and language.
Experience in AI or technology-related fields is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with educational methodologies and a passion for improving AI applications in your area of expertise will set you apart. You are open to learning new skills and adapting to the evolving landscape of AI technology.
In this role, you will contribute to an hourly, temporary AI research project by developing prompts for AI models that reflect your field. You will evaluate the responses generated by these models and provide feedback that strengthens their understanding of real-world tasks. Your insights will help shape how AI is utilized in various professional contexts, making your contributions vital to the project's success. You will work asynchronously, allowing you to balance this role with other commitments. As projects open periodically, your placement will depend on availability, giving you the flexibility to engage when it suits you best.
