We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the eero Finance team to help us extract meaning from large volumes of data to help us make the right business decisions. The successful candidate will be an expert with SQL, ETL, and Tableau and have exemplary communication skills. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. The candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner effectively with business partners to answer key business questions.
As a BIE at eero, you will:
- Engage with the business and diversified customer groups to understand the needs and recommend business intelligence solutions.
- Partner with the Data engineering team to define the data elements and data structure that the team should leverage to enable analytical capabilities.
- Interface with business and finance customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete forecasting and reporting solutions.
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards and models to drive key business decisions
- Be connected and influential within the Amazon analyst community. Work with Data engineering, Software development teams to enable the appropriate capture and storage of key data points.
- Understand and communicate machine learning and other statistical techniques used to forecast key business drivers, and analyze and report model results and metadata.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
