Your experience includes working with core financial domains such as acquiring, issuing, chargebacks, and disputes, ensuring that the data backbone supports accurate reporting and analytics.

You are a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, and engineering. You thrive in environments that require diverse perspectives and innovative solutions, and you are committed to fostering an inclusive team culture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and grow the FinPlat data engineering team, ensuring that they build and maintain the financial data warehouse and lakehouse foundations. You will own the strategy for financial data pipelines, focusing on automation and monitoring to enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in delivering data products that support accurate decision-making across Block's payment and money movement flows.

You will oversee the architecture of data systems that power reporting and analytics, ensuring that they meet the needs of various stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with product and finance teams to understand their data requirements and translating those into actionable data solutions.

You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, fostering their professional growth, and encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
