Frontend Engineer

You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Product and Design, to translate requirements into functional features. Your proactive approach to problem-solving allows you to tackle challenges head-on, whether it's defining a new technical foundation or executing daily tasks. You understand the importance of agile methodologies and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you can contribute to the end-to-end development process.

You are detail-oriented and have a passion for creating high-performance applications — your experience includes optimizing web applications for speed and efficiency. You are also familiar with best practices in frontend architecture and design, ensuring that your work aligns with the overall vision of the product. You are eager to learn and grow, always looking for opportunities to expand your skill set and contribute to the team's success.

Desirable

Experience with additional frameworks or libraries such as Vue.js or Angular would be a plus, as well as familiarity with backend technologies to enhance your collaboration with backend engineers. A background in cybersecurity or exposure to security-focused applications can also be beneficial in understanding the context of your work at Tenable.

What you'll do

As a Frontend Engineer at Tenable, you will play a crucial role in the development of our product platform — you will work closely with Product and Design teams to create user-centric interfaces that meet the needs of our customers. Your responsibilities will include defining technical requirements, developing new features, and ensuring the performance and scalability of the applications you build. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the frontend systems, ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process.

You will also engage in agile ceremonies, collaborating with your team to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality features on time. Your role will involve troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise, ensuring that the user experience remains seamless and efficient. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
