Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in project management, particularly in data center construction and telecom project management. Your interpersonal and communication skills enable you to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring that all integration and fit-out activities are executed smoothly. You are self-directed and capable of managing multiple scopes and interdependencies, making you a key player in the success of the projects you oversee.

You understand the importance of documentation and handover processes, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and expectations are met before handing over the space to operations teams. Your organizational skills allow you to produce and manage detailed project plans, tracking major milestones and ensuring financial approvals are in place for Microsoft-owned build projects.

Desirable

Experience in managing large-scale construction projects and familiarity with data center operations would be advantageous. A background in telecom project management is highly desirable, as it will enhance your ability to navigate the complexities of integration within the data center environment.

What you'll do

As the Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all integration and fit-out activities associated with Microsoft-owned systems and services in new data center builds or leased facilities. You will coordinate with landlords and vendors to ensure that all construction activities align with project timelines and requirements. Your role will involve identifying scopes and interdependencies between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

You will manage the handover process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that operations teams are fully prepared to take over the space. Your responsibilities will include producing and managing project plans, executing major milestones such as Early Access, Network Install, and Fit Out Complete, and overseeing the financial management of these tasks.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams, including construction, operations, and external vendors, to ensure that all integration activities are completed on time and within budget. You will play a critical role in delivering capacity to the business, contributing to the overall success of Microsoft's data center initiatives.

What we offer

You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that contribute to the company's mission of empowering every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will benefit from a supportive team culture, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies in the data center space. Join us in shaping the future of data center operations at Microsoft.
