Unity is hiring a Senior BI Developer to support data and analytics needs across the organization. You'll architect and maintain data pipelines, build dashboards, and ensure data quality. This role requires expertise in SQL and Power BI.
You have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with a strong background in developing and optimizing data models that drive actionable insights. You are skilled in SQL and have experience with BI platforms, enabling you to create effective dashboards and reports that meet business needs. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams allows you to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
You are a visualization domain expert, adept at using various data visualization tools to present data in a clear and impactful manner. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity while driving improvements in data flow. Your experience in reconciling data from diverse sources equips you to maintain high data quality standards across the organization.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working directly with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions that are both rapid and reusable. You are passionate about empowering teams to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
Experience with data pipeline architecture and maintenance is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced analytics techniques. Knowledge of additional BI tools beyond Power BI would be beneficial, as would experience in a gaming or tech environment.
In this role, you will architect, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and semantic layers that support Unity's Create Organization. You will work closely with business leaders to define core business metrics and create dashboards that monitor the health of the business. Your expertise in data visualization will be crucial as you build tools that surface actionable insights for various teams.
You will be responsible for performing in-depth analyses of customer and user behavior, as well as product usage trends, to inform strategic decisions. Your work will directly impact the ability of partner teams to enhance customer experience, reduce churn, and increase long-term retention.
You will also focus on driving data flow improvements and maintaining data quality and integrity across the organization. By reconciling data between diverse tools, you will ensure that stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information. Your role will involve continuous collaboration with internal teams to understand their evolving data needs and develop scalable solutions that can adapt to rapid changes in the business landscape.
Unity offers a competitive salary range of $103,000 to $135,135 CAD, reflecting the importance of this role in our organization.
