Google is seeking a Head of Commerce Partnerships to drive business development and manage key partnerships in the consumer electronics and e-commerce sectors. This role requires extensive experience in business development and relationship management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 15 years of experience in business development or partnerships in industries such as Consumer Electronics, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology. Your experience includes working with C-level executives and managing agreements or partnerships. You have a strong ability to facilitate discussions, structure agreements, interpret legal documents, and collaborate with legal teams. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and possess an entrepreneurial mindset that drives persistent execution and relationship building. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape applications and content for products like YouTube and Google TV.
An MBA or JD is preferred, along with 3 years of experience managing people or teams. You have experience escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership, which will be crucial in this role.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing expertise on the AMS commerce landscape and surfacing relevant market feedback to cross-functional partners across product, exchange partnerships, and marketing. You will build executive-level relationships with top commerce partners, acting as a trusted advisor and sharing your business and product expertise. Your role will involve exploring new opportunities with Google's partners and helping them grow using Google's newest product offerings. You will also manage the Partnerships Development team, ensuring that your team is equipped with the necessary business acumen and product knowledge to succeed.
