Solutions Architect

Who you are

You have 5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role. Your background includes a minimum of 2 years of experience with modern scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, and SQL, as well as popular programming languages like C, C++, and Java. You have a proven track record of implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in both cloud and on-prem environments. Your ability to work with customers to review complex architecture of existing applications is well-established, and you provide valuable guidance on how to improve by leveraging technology. Excellent presentation skills are a hallmark of your professional demeanor, allowing you to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Desirable

Experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles is a plus, as is familiarity with MongoDB's data platform. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can translate customer needs into actionable solutions. Your entrepreneurial spirit and technical acumen make you a trusted advisor to clients ranging from startups to large enterprise IT organizations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers and users in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. You will collaborate closely with sales executives to help customers solve business problems by leveraging MongoDB's solutions. Your expertise will play a key role in winning deals and driving business forward. You will take direct responsibility for customer success, including the design of their software, deployment, and operations. As a Solutions Architect, you will engage with a wide range of users, ensuring that their growth is grounded in strong technical alignment with our platform and their needs. You will also participate in the development of best practices and methodologies for the Pre-Sales organization, contributing to the overall success of the team.
