Who you are

You have a strong background in UI/UX design, with experience in creating user-centered designs for complex B2B applications. You understand the importance of translating user needs and business goals into effective design solutions. Your proficiency in tools like Figma allows you to create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs that enhance user experience. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, partnering closely with product managers and engineers to ensure that designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and intuitive.

You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. Your ability to think critically about user workflows and operational challenges enables you to design solutions that are both elegant and efficient. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking to improve your designs based on user testing and stakeholder input. Desirable

What you'll do

As a UI/UX Designer at ShipHawk, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience across our platform. You will collaborate with product managers to translate complex operational workflows into intuitive designs that meet user needs. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that enhance the usability of our shipping and warehouse management systems. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on your designs, ensuring that they are user-centered and effective.

You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that your designs are implemented accurately and effectively. Your ability to communicate design concepts clearly and collaborate with technical teams will be essential in bringing your ideas to life. You will also participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.

What we offer

ShipHawk offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000, along with stock options. We provide a flexible work environment with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity from our Santa Barbara office.
