Overview

Energage is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth by selling integrated talent management and assessment solutions. You'll engage with executives and diagnose talent challenges to design comprehensive solutions. This role requires strong consultative sales skills and experience in managing complex sales cycles.

Who you are

You are a strategic and consultative sales professional with a proven track record in driving new business growth. You have experience engaging with executives and diagnosing talent challenges, allowing you to design comprehensive solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Your ability to build strong relationships with C-level and HR decision-makers positions you as a trusted advisor in the marketplace. You are skilled in managing complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract negotiation and close, ensuring a seamless client experience.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Solution Consultants, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to build and manage a healthy pipeline. You are adept at conducting discovery sessions with HR and business leaders to understand their strategic talent challenges and tailor your approach accordingly. Your accountability and impact are evident in your ability to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through effective account planning and pipeline forecasting.

Desirable

Experience in HR technology or talent management solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with the competitive landscape. You are comfortable with both inbound lead conversion and executing targeted outbound campaigns, showcasing your versatility in sales strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will prospect, qualify, and close new business and upsell opportunities within assigned territories or verticals. You will conduct discovery sessions with HR and business leaders to understand their strategic talent challenges, collaborating with Solution Consultants to deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with C-level and HR decision-makers, positioning Energage as a trusted advisor.

You will manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract negotiation and close, developing account plans and maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts. Achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets will be a key responsibility, as will partnering with Marketing to convert inbound leads and execute targeted outbound campaigns. You will also work closely with Client Success to convert and upsell leads from existing customers, ensuring a seamless transition and strong post-sale experience.

Staying current on Energage’s products, market trends, and the competitive landscape will be essential to your success. You will leverage this knowledge to inform your sales strategies and enhance your effectiveness in the role.
