Lead Security Risk Analyst (GRC)

Who you are

You are an experienced Lead Security Risk Analyst with a strong background in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC). You have a proven track record of working cross-functionally to develop security safeguards and countermeasures that protect company assets, employees, and customers. Your ability to provide technical guidance and solutions is essential in maturing Justworks' GRC function. You thrive in a supportive and entrepreneurial environment, and you are passionate about building something meaningful while having fun.

You have excellent communication skills and can effectively liaise with various teams across Digital Security. Your experience includes developing GRC strategies and multi-year roadmaps that align with organizational goals. You understand the importance of collaboration and are committed to fostering a culture of security awareness within the company.

You are data-driven and continuously seek to iterate on processes and strategies to enhance security measures. You are comfortable navigating complex challenges and are dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of Justworks' operations. You believe in the value of inclusivity and are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported.

Desirable

Experience in a startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with industry standards and best practices in security risk management. You may have certifications related to GRC or security, which would further enhance your qualifications for this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with the GRC leader to provide guidance and solutions that protect Justworks, its products, customers, and employees. You will support the GRC leader in building a comprehensive GRC strategy and multi-year roadmaps to mature the GRC function. Your responsibilities will include developing security safeguards and countermeasures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

You will collaborate with various teams to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Your role will involve analyzing security incidents and implementing improvements to prevent future occurrences. You will also be responsible for educating employees about security best practices and fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
