HelloFresh is seeking a Kitchen Area Manager to oversee multiple kitchen areas, ensuring efficient and high-quality operations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on safety and quality standards.
You have a proven track record in managing kitchen operations, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic thinking. Your hands-on mentality allows you to effectively oversee multiple kitchen areas while ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards. You are adept at analyzing performance metrics and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Your experience in coordinating tasks across departments ensures a smooth production flow, and you are committed to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Experience in the food production industry or a similar environment is a plus. Familiarity with safety regulations such as HACCP and ArbSchG will help you excel in this role. You are a proactive problem solver who can identify potential issues before they arise and take appropriate action.
As a Kitchen Area Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational and disciplinary leadership of several kitchen areas and their supervisors. You will ensure that all processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality. Your role involves monitoring quality controls, storage, rotation, presentation, and temperature measurements, taking corrective actions when deviations occur. You will also be responsible for the effective use and maintenance of equipment, materials, and resources.
You will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement measures to support company-wide initiatives. Regular audits and performance analysis will be part of your responsibilities, and you will report directly to the Executive Chef. You will coordinate tasks and priorities between various departments to ensure a seamless production flow, and you will manage incident and accident protocols, implementing preventive measures to comply with occupational safety regulations.
In addition, you will support supervisors in their leadership roles, helping them develop their skills and ensuring that they can effectively manage their teams. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of our kitchen operations and contributing to the overall success of HelloFresh.
