Web Developer

Yotpo is seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer with strong experience in JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, and clean coding practices to join our Marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise-level WordPress projects, building dynamic, high-performing websites while collaborating with global, cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Design, Brand, BI, and BA.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend solutions for our marketing websites and web applications.
• Work closely with designers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Create smooth animations and interactive experiences using GSAP and other modern animation libraries.
• Stay current with the latest frontend innovations and suggest creative technical solutions.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable code using modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other dynamic data sources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with and implement the latest frontend technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to server-side rendering and static site generation projects (e.g., Next.js).

What to bring:

 

• 3+ years of professional web development experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, React, GSAP, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Solid experience building animated, interactive, and visually rich web pages.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React (preferred) or Vue.
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly websites.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress and PHP (understanding backend structure to better integrate frontend work).
• Familiarity with MySQL databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, efficient rendering techniques, and frontend build tools.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Understanding of server-side rendering and static generation (e.g., Next.js).
• Great eye for design implementation and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, “can-do” attitude and passion for frontend innovation
