NETGEAR is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Team Lead to provide technical leadership within the Mobile Products software engineering team. You'll lead the design and development of software solutions for next-generation mobile products, focusing on Embedded Linux and Cellular Wireless technologies.
You are a seasoned Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in Embedded Linux and Cellular Wireless technologies. With over 5 years of experience in software development, you have a proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality software solutions. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Your technical expertise allows you to make informed decisions that drive project success and ensure alignment across various initiatives. You are passionate about technology and are eager to contribute to the development of innovative mobile products.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of software solutions for NETGEAR's next-generation mobile products. You will define, implement, and maintain robust architectures that ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. As a Team Lead, you will provide day-to-day technical guidance and leadership to your team, fostering an environment of skill development and knowledge sharing. You will oversee project planning, execution, and tracking for team initiatives, ensuring clarity of priorities, scope, and timelines. Your responsibilities will also include conducting code reviews to uphold coding standards and best engineering practices, as well as collaborating closely with Product Management to define feature roadmaps and release schedules.
NETGEAR offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work on-site at the Richmond office from Tuesday to Thursday while providing flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
