InterSystems is seeking a Technical Specialist Intern to support training initiatives and assist in the development of training materials. You'll work with JavaScript, HTML, and SQL to enhance training environments and provide technical support.
You are a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a background in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or MINT disciplines. You demonstrate a strong facility with software development and programming, enjoying the challenge of analyzing complex data and developing software solutions. Your problem-solving skills are well-honed, allowing you to develop creative solutions and identify key issues through systematic analysis. Excellent communication skills are part of your toolkit, and you have experience conducting customer training, workshops, or presentations. You are familiar with web-oriented languages, including HTML and JavaScript, and have experience with SQL.
In this role, you will monitor training executions and report any incidents that may occur during these activities. You will be responsible for updating, reviewing, and translating training materials, ensuring that they are current and relevant. Working closely with the training team, you will support the evaluation of training courses and participate in technical trainings and product release meetings to identify new training opportunities. You will build and manage training environments, keeping them up to date, and develop new hands-on activities according to the specifications provided by the learning manager. Additionally, you will undertake low-level debugging of any issues identified and provide assistance to the training team during the execution of training processes.
InterSystems offers a 12-month contract for this internship, providing you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. You will work alongside a dedicated training team, contributing to the development of training materials and enhancing your technical skills.
