Who you are

You are a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on IT process automation — you have hands-on experience with Ansible and are familiar with its Automation Platform and Core. Your expertise extends to scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python, allowing you to automate tasks efficiently and effectively.

You have a solid understanding of infrastructure management tools like Terraform, which you have used to provision and manage cloud resources. Your experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift demonstrates your ability to manage complex deployments and ensure high availability.

You are knowledgeable about virtualization technologies, particularly VMware, and understand how to leverage these tools to optimize resource utilization. Additionally, you possess foundational knowledge of databases like Oracle and MSSQL, which aids in your ability to manage data-driven applications.

Your familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS allows you to design and implement scalable solutions that meet business needs. You are proactive in learning new technologies and continuously seek to improve your skills in the ever-evolving field of DevOps.

Desirable

While not mandatory, experience with Terraform is a plus, as it enhances your ability to manage infrastructure as code. You also have a basic understanding of cloud services and can navigate the complexities of cloud architecture.

What you'll do

In this role at NEORIS, you will be responsible for automating IT processes to improve efficiency and reliability across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines that streamline software delivery and enhance deployment frequency.

You will work closely with developers to ensure that applications are built with scalability and maintainability in mind. Your role will involve monitoring system performance and implementing solutions to optimize resource usage and reduce downtime.

You will also be tasked with maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, ensuring that systems are secure and compliant with industry standards. Your expertise in Ansible will be crucial as you automate repetitive tasks and manage configurations across various environments.

As part of your responsibilities, you will participate in incident management and troubleshooting, providing support during outages and ensuring that services are restored promptly. You will document processes and create knowledge-sharing resources to empower your team and improve overall operational efficiency.
