Google is seeking a UX Strategy and Operations Systems Architect to manage the lifecycle of internal operational tools and drive user-centered development. You'll work with Python, SQL, and APIs to optimize systems and enhance user experience. This role requires 4+ years of relevant experience in management consulting or corporate strategy.
You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, or business intelligence. Your background includes analyzing and translating data into actionable insights, providing recommendations for improvements, and presenting results to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or SQL, and you have experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, and systems architecture. You also have a solid understanding of service design or information architecture, and you are familiar with utilizing AI-based tools to solve operational challenges.
Experience in behavioral change and adoption for new systems or workflows is a plus, as is your familiarity with implementing new operational systems or tools in an organizational setting. You have a strong grasp of project execution and delivery, and knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) is beneficial. Your ability to collaborate effectively with Design and Research teams will be key in this role.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of internal operational tools, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. You will lead change management efforts for new systems, ensuring adoption and behavioral change among stakeholders. Collaborating closely with Program and Operations and Strategy and Operations leadership, you will identify opportunities for automation and technical optimization, driving projects that enhance communication and streamline the UX design process. Your work will contribute to a culture of user-centered development at Google, where multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers come together to create impactful user experiences.
