NEORIS is seeking a Junior Mobile Engineer to develop Android applications. You'll work with Kotlin and Java, focusing on the complete software development lifecycle. This role requires experience in mobile development and offers a remote work environment.
You have a degree in Computer Systems Engineering or a related field and at least one year of experience in Android development. Your expertise in mobile development with Kotlin and Java allows you to create high-quality applications that meet user needs. You possess a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and are familiar with the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You are adaptable and proactive, with strong communication skills that enable you to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, as well as integration with external services such as REST, GraphQL, and Firebase, is a plus. Familiarity with architectural patterns and design principles in Android, including MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Singleton, Observer, and Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin), will set you apart. Knowledge of development methodologies like Test Driven Development (TDD) and Domain Driven Design (DDD) is also desirable, as is an understanding of UX/UI criteria for Android following Material Design guidelines.
As a Junior Mobile Engineer at NEORIS, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications that deliver high value to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough testing to ensure the quality of the applications you develop. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
