Nuro is seeking a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Research Scientist to develop generative models for autonomous driving. You'll work with advanced techniques like diffusion and flow matching. This role requires expertise in machine learning and AI technologies.
You have a strong background in machine learning research, particularly in generative modeling techniques. With 5+ years of experience, you've successfully applied state-of-the-art algorithms to real-world challenges, especially in the context of autonomous systems. Your expertise includes working with diffusion architectures, flow-matching techniques, and energy-based models, which are crucial for developing safe and efficient driving behaviors. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers and researchers, to tackle complex problems in autonomous driving.
You possess a deep understanding of large language models and their applications in reasoning and decision-making. Your experience with multi-modality generation allows you to create innovative solutions that enhance the capabilities of autonomous vehicles. In this role, you will lead the development and scaling of generative models specifically designed for autonomous plan generation. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of your models, from initial research and development to productization for robust deployments. You will also engage in knowledge sharing and mentorship within your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
