What you'll do

In this role, you will brainstorm, design, and develop metrology equipment used to calibrate and test Apple's new technology and products. Your work will involve characterizing tool capabilities at sub-micron mechanical tolerances and developing automated mass-production measurement tools. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers from various disciplines, including instrumentation and product design, to create state-of-the-art measurement systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting structural and thermal analyses, ensuring that designs meet performance specifications, and iterating on designs based on testing results. You will also be involved in the documentation of design processes and outcomes, contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices within the team.
