Apple is hiring an Entry-Level DFT Engineer to contribute to System-on-Chip design efforts. You'll work with DFT specifications and tools like Verilog and VHDL in Munich.
You hold a Bachelor or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or possess equivalent strong experience. You are fluent in English and have been in contact with DFT activities such as MBIST, SCAN, and ATPG. You understand DfT specifications and are eager to drive DfT architecture and methods for designs. Your experience includes working with Verilog and/or VHDL, and you are familiar with simulators and waveform debugging tools. You enjoy conducting experiments during silicon debug, capturing and analyzing data, and utilizing scripting to enhance your work.
In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a System-on-Chip design effort, collaborating with various fields to ensure the successful delivery of functional products to millions of customers. You will lead the complete DfT solutions in chip design by working closely with the chip DfT team to detail DfT specifications. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing innovative solutions that contribute to engineering perfection and creativity at Apple. You will engage in hands-on development, ensuring that the DfT architecture aligns with the overall design goals. You will also participate in debugging and validation processes, ensuring that the designs meet the required specifications and performance metrics.
