Job Description

Amazon Brazil is seeking an experienced Retail Efficiency Product Manager to drive operational excellence through automation, process optimization, and change management initiatives. In this role, you will lead the implementation of AI/ML solutions, streamline retail operations, and manage offshore partnerships while ensuring successful adoption of new tools and processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with excellent stakeholder management skills to identify improvement opportunities, develop comprehensive solutions, and deliver measurable efficiency gains across retail operations. This position requires a strategic mindset to balance technical innovation with practical implementation, while maintaining focus on team enablement and process excellence.

Key job responsibilities
The Retail Efficiency Product Manager will:
1. Design and own the strategic roadmap for automation initiatives, including cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams (GenAI, ML and AI agents) and offshore partners to drive implementation of efficiency solutions.
2. Partner with Retail teams to identify, measure, and solve operational inefficiencies through data-driven analysis and continuous performance monitoring.
3. Spearhead the adoption of new tools and processes by developing training programs, documentation, and SOPs while tracking implementation metrics and success rates.
4. Collaborate with Retail Business Services (RBS) teams to optimize resource allocation, workforce planning, and process standardization across the organization.
5. Conduct comprehensive process analysis within Retail teams to identify improvement opportunities, establish feedback loops, and create data-backed recommendations for optimization.

About the team
The Retail Operations & Initiatives (RO&I) team’s goal is to identify, develop, and manage a set of scalable initiatives to grow Amazon Brazil Retail Key Inputs related to Selection, Productivity and Profitability increase. Our goal is to Eliminate, Automate, or Offshore Low Value-add activities that are holding us to improve the Brazilian Customer shopping experience. - Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- Proven product management experience- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
