Sr. Software Engineer, Hardware Test & Automation (Starshield)

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing automation infrastructure and testing frameworks. Your background includes strong programming skills in languages such as Java and Python, and you are familiar with C++ for embedded systems. You understand the importance of reliability and design in software development, especially in high-stakes environments like aerospace. Your experience with embedded Linux systems and test automation tools will be crucial in this role. You are a collaborative team player who can communicate effectively with hardware engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware systems. You are eager to learn and adapt, even if you don't have prior aerospace experience.

Desirable

Experience with Hardware In The Loop (HITL) testing is a plus, as is familiarity with satellite systems and operations. Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools will enhance your contributions to the team. What you'll do
