Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative to support workplace health and safety initiatives. You'll work closely with the WHS team to provide first aid and guidance on health and wellness principles. This role requires experience in medical support and a commitment to safety excellence.
You have experience in medical support, ideally in a workplace setting, and are passionate about advocating for health and wellness principles. You understand the importance of safety in the workplace and are committed to creating a safe environment for all associates. You are comfortable working independently and can assess and administer first aid as needed. You have strong communication skills and can effectively interact with associates to provide guidance on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You are eager to learn about OSHA regulations and risk analysis to enhance your contributions to the team.
As an Onsite Medical Representative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and safety of associates. You will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialist, attending weekly safety committee meetings and engaging with new hires to ensure they understand safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers when necessary. You will participate in case management review meetings and assist with safety operations as needed. Your role will involve advocating for health and wellness principles, ensuring that associates feel supported in their health needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and proactively managing health and wellbeing initiatives.
