Handshake is seeking Ophthalmologists, Except Pediatric Professionals to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your expertise to evaluate AI models in your field, providing structured feedback. No prior AI experience is required.
You are an experienced Ophthalmologist with at least 4 years of professional experience in diagnosing and treating ocular disorders. You have conducted comprehensive eye examinations and are familiar with performing surgeries such as cataract and glaucoma procedures. Your background equips you to evaluate and train AI models effectively, even if you have no prior experience with AI technology. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week on this project.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to deliver clear and structured feedback that enhances the AI model's understanding of your workplace tasks and language. You are open to learning new skills and adapting to the evolving landscape of AI in your field. You understand the importance of your role in shaping how AI can assist in ophthalmology and are eager to contribute to this innovative research.
While no specific AI experience is required, familiarity with technology and a willingness to engage with AI models will be beneficial. You may also have experience in developing prompts or evaluating responses in a clinical context, which will enhance your contributions to the project.
