You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building and optimizing data pipelines that support advanced analytics and AI solutions. Your expertise in Azure and Python allows you to create robust data systems that are both reliable and scalable. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience in managing data pipelines that deliver actionable insights. You are comfortable collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure that data systems meet the needs of various stakeholders. You have a strong understanding of SQL and can write complex queries to extract and manipulate data effectively. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement in data processes and are always looking for ways to enhance system performance.

Desirable

Experience with Apache Spark is a plus, as it allows you to handle large datasets efficiently. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI can help you communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. You are also open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your work and contribute to the team's success.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines that power the Microsoft 365 Copilot app. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data infrastructure supports business insights and operational excellence. Your role will involve end-to-end delivery, from developing platform APIs to monitoring and ensuring the reliability of data systems. You will also be involved in partner enablement, ensuring that AI-enabled experiences from partner teams are built on the platform you help maintain. You will take ownership of the data pipeline, ensuring it is secure and performs at a high level to support the innovative features of the Copilot ecosystem. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app and its ability to empower users.
