Block is seeking a Partner Development Lead for their Commerce team to drive commercialization and business development for Afterpay and Cash App. This role involves building relationships with key players in payments and technology.
You have a strong background in business development, particularly in the payments or financial services sector — you understand the complexities of commercializing financial products and have a proven track record of building strategic partnerships. Your experience includes working with various stakeholders, from small businesses to large enterprises, and you excel at navigating the challenges that come with diverse operational needs.
You are adept at developing go-to-market strategies that resonate with both partners and customers — your analytical skills allow you to assess market trends and identify opportunities for growth. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market demands.

In this role, you will lead the Global Payments Partnerships team, focusing on the commercialization of Cash App and Afterpay's payment products. You will develop and execute strategies that enhance our market presence and drive revenue growth. Building and nurturing relationships with key players in the payments, finance, and technology sectors will be a core part of your responsibilities.
You will collaborate with product teams to ensure that our offerings align with market needs and partner expectations.
