Apple is hiring a Data Scientist for the Ads Marketplace team to develop analytical solutions that enhance advertising effectiveness while respecting user privacy. You'll work with Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets. This role requires experience in data analysis and visualization.
You have a strong background in data science with at least 3-5 years of experience in analyzing large datasets and developing machine learning models. Your proficiency in Python and SQL allows you to manipulate and extract insights from complex data structures effectively. You understand the importance of user privacy and are committed to ethical data practices. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for turning data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Experience with advertising technology or marketplace dynamics is a plus. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker will enhance your ability to present findings to stakeholders. A background in statistical analysis and familiarity with A/B testing methodologies will be beneficial in this role.
