AccuWeather is seeking a Video Production Intern to gain hands-on experience in content creation for a leading weather network. You'll curate and edit weather-related videos and maintain the video archive. This internship requires a strong interest in video production and basic experience with editing software.
You are actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have a strong interest in video production and weather-related content. You possess basic experience with video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, and have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You are eager to learn about video production processes and can work independently as well as part of a team.
As a Video Production Intern at AccuWeather, you will curate and find compelling weather-related videos from various sources, including user-generated content. You will edit informative and engaging weather-related videos for AccuWeather's digital platforms, social media, and network broadcasts. Additionally, you will organize and maintain AccuWeather's video archive library, ensuring clips are properly cataloged for easy access and identification. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of video production, from initial concept to final execution, within a national weather network environment.
This paid internship runs for approximately 10 weeks, from late May 2026 through early to mid-August 2026, requiring a commitment of about 20 hours per week. You will be working onsite at AccuWeather Headquarters in State College, PA, where you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering accurate and timely weather information to audiences across various digital platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to content creation for one of the leading weather networks worldwide.
