Who you are

You have a strong background in operations, particularly in the context of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO). Your hands-on experience spans the full lifecycle of CLO transactions, including warehouse facility management and complex settlement processes. You understand the intricacies of loan portfolio trade capture and cashflow processing, and you are familiar with operational controls around note issuance and investor reporting. You are detail-oriented and possess the ability to design controlled and scalable processes that enhance operational efficiency.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with various teams including front office and risk management. Your communication skills enable you to liaise effectively with agent banks, custodians, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for operational process improvements and are committed to supporting new CLO launches and ongoing portfolio management.

Desirable

Experience with standardized investor reporting and waterfall processing is a plus. Familiarity with operational controls and compliance in financial transactions will set you apart. You are adaptable and open to learning new systems and processes that enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the setup of new warehouse facilities and related accounts, ensuring that all necessary accounts are established and maintained. You will oversee the onboarding of loans into the warehouse, which includes trade capture, settlement instructions, eligibility checks, and static data setup. Monitoring the warehouse borrowing base, advance rates, margin/collateral requirements, and key covenants will be part of your daily responsibilities, requiring close coordination with the front office and risk teams.

You will capture and maintain all primary and secondary leveraged loan trades for CLO warehouses and issued CLOs in the position-keeping system. Your role will involve liaising with agent banks and custodians to ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and on time. You will also be involved in the life-cycle management of CLO vehicles, supporting both warehouse and post-issuance phases.

Your analytical skills will be crucial as you process cashflows and perform reconciliations. You will be tasked with identifying discrepancies and resolving issues that arise during the settlement process. Your contributions will help ensure that operational processes are efficient and compliant with regulatory standards.
